Finland is preparing to send its 19th defence aid package to Ukraine, according to a government press release issued on Wednesday.
The defence aid package will cost Finland about 95 million euros.
The outcome of the war in Ukraine will affect the “security order of Europe, as well as Finland, far into the future,” Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen(NCP) said in the release.
“This is why we will continue our determined support for Ukraine together with our allies. The total value of the defence materiel packages delivered by Finland to Ukraine is now EUR 1.4 billion,” he continued.
Like other defence aid packages Finland has sent, the government did not disclose more details about the shipment’s contents nor when and how it will be delivered.
The government said that both the Finnish Defence Forces and Ukraine’s needs and resources were taken into account when making decisions about the aid package’s contents.
