Posten Norge AS is changing its company name to Posten Bring AS. The brands Posten and Bring will remain unchanged.
The name change will highlight the important role played by the logistics business. Under the Bring brand, Posten has consolidated its offerings to corporate customers in the Nordic market and to private customers outside of Norway in e-commerce, logistics, as well as warehouse solutions and international freight forwarding. The logistics business constitutes nearly 80 percent of the group’s revenues.
“Posten Bring reflects the breadth of our operations. Posten is the foundation of everything we do. Posten carries a proud history of how the business, over several centuries, has built and developed vital infrastructure to ensure the delivery of mail and packages throughout Norway. With Bring, we have established a solid Nordic logistics network, especially within e-commerce. The Posten Bring group will continue to make everyday life easier and the world smaller,” says CEO Tone Wille of Posten Bring AS.
The name change only affects the company name. Customers and the market will not notice any difference. The current brands and logos will be used in the same way as today. There will only be minor costs associated with the technical and legal work of changing the company name.
The decision to change the company name was made by Posten‘s owner, the Norwegian state represented by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries, at the company’s general meeting on June 6 this year, based on a recommendation from the board.
Posten was established in 1647 and is Norway’s oldest business. Posten is the brand that meets individuals throughout Norway when delivering packages and mail. Bring encompasses all Nordic and international operations in e-commerce and logistics.
Posten Bring currently has two strong brands that work together for the best possible customer experience.
