BURLINGTON, Vt. —With the 2022-23 school year wrapping up, Burlington High School hosted a celebratory signing day to honor a pair of its top student athletes who will be continuing their academic and athletic career in college.

Rosie Brown and Charite Dzingou both signed on Monday, to much fanfare from friends and family alike.

“I’m just trying to make a path with all the guys that are younger than me,” Dzingou said.

He is set to join the St. Michael’s men’s basketball team in the fall.

Brown will attend Bates College and ski for the school’s Nordic skiing team. She brings much of the success she’s had in high school to her collegiate career.

“The girls Nordic team has won the state championships the last three years, so I’m trying to bring that same energy into collegiate skiing,” Brown said.
