Zelensky: Priority at the front is to keep the situation and prepare for escalation

President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, at which the situation in each individual operational area was discussed. This was discussed in his address.

– We listened in detail to the situation in each of the areas and the prospects – also in each of the operational areas. The supply of weapons, the supply of ammunition, the training of our military. The plans and abilities of the enemy. The potential of the Ukrainian response, Zelensky said.

According to him, now the Ukrainian side needs to prepare for any escalatory actions of the Russians and move forward in the de-occupation of our territories.

– Keeping the situation at the front and preparing for any escalation steps of the enemy is a priority in the near future. Moving forward in the further liberation of our land is a priority that we are carefully preparing, he stressed.

Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov have previously said that the Russians are preparing for a new offensive against Ukraine. Intelligence officials assure that Russian troops do not have the necessary resources to carry out a large-scale attack on Ukraine on the anniversary of the war – February 24. Also, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kirill Bulanov , predicted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were preparing a large counteroffensive for the spring.
